Spring 101; Spring snacks: Session 4

Quick and Easy Buys:

1) Yoplait Greek 101 Whips~ Strawberry: I personally love the whips, but strawberry is my favorite.
I sometimes like to dip strawberries in my yogurt and it covers them in a yummy coating and that's why this is a must try for you guys!


2) Trail Mix~ There are sooo many kinds of trail mixes out there- nuts, m&m's, etc.- but I like Planter's NUT-rition Blueberry Protein Mix 




D.I.Y:
3) Peanut Butter Trail Mix: This stuff is seriously so good and all you have to do is take mini Reese's cups, peanuts, and Reese's pieces and eyeball how much you want to put in a bag and eat it straight like that. This is so good and a yummy treat for road trips or after a practice or a small snack.

4) Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Trail Mix~ This stuff is sooo good and healthy, also known as healthy trail mix, it is one of my favorites.
The recipe:

Ingredients: 4 cups rolled oats

                      1 cup popcorn (or ½ cup sunflower or sesame seeds)

                       ½ cup nuts, optional

Mix together: ½ cup honey and 1 teaspoon vanilla

 Pour honey over the oats mixture and spread in an ungreased pan.

Bake at 325 degrees for 25- 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

Let cool completely.

Add: ¾ cup of raisins

          1 cup semi- sweet chocolate chips

           ½ teaspoon salt

Stir altogether. Keep in an airtight container in a cool place.

5) Kabobs:
Really any kind of kabobs. All they are is you put something on a stick! My personal favorite thing is strawberries (regular or chocolate dipped) with pineapple and blueberries! But these are very flexible and fit the way YOU like it so you can mix and match to create your own thing!
